Mission: help new/experienced authors develop/improve writing skills in all genres of fiction, nonfiction and memoir writing. Authors email drafts to other members before meetings. Twenty minutes to read work and receive comments. Draft copies returned to author annotated with suggestions. The

Mission: Writers from all types of Villages Clubs band together to help each other with the mission of: “To promote the art and craft of The Villages authors through cooperative efforts.”
Meeting: 1st Wednesday of month at Laurel Manor Rec. Center, 9-10:30 a.m.
WRITERS IN TIME
Mission: a monthly historical novel writer’s study group; not a critique group; meet with others interested in this genre. Topics: historical research, character development, dynamic scenes, dialogue, narrative, conflict between protagonists, fact vs. fiction, publication markets, etc.
Meeting: 1st Friday of month at Fish Hawk Recreation Center on Buttonwood Run from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
